The Aaron Hernandez case continued to move after he appeared in court last week for a probable cause hearing and as things move along, authorities are searching for the murder weapon in the case and once again they have set their sights on Bristol, the hometown of the former Patriots tight end.

According to Pro Football Talk, the authorities are searching a like in Connecticut for the murder weapon and this comes after authorities searched the home of Hernandez's uncle, as accomplices Carlos Ortiz and Ernest Wallace reportedly went there after the murder. Police are looking for the murder weapon in the case and while they have shell casings from the murder of Odin Lloyd, they do not have the weapon, but that doesn't mean they can't win the case.

According to WFSB-TV, police searched in Pine Lake for the gun and while they haven't found it yet, it is another lead in the case. The cops took the phone of Hernández's cousin Tanya Singleton in court and searched the uncle's home after it was found out that Wallace also lived there and they also wanted to speak to Singleton's cousin in connection with the crime, but he ended up dead in a car accident.

Hernandez was released by the Patriots soon after he was arrested and he now faces life in prison for the charges.
