Packers Rumors: James Jones Angry Greg Jennings 'Betrayed Brotherhood' with Aaron Rodgers Comments, Calls QB True Leader in Green Bay

Greg Jennings is officially on the Green Bay Packers' most wanted list. Not only did the wide receiver sign with NFL rival Minnesota in the offseason, but he then went on to bash the entire Packers' team and quarterback Aaron Rodgers. After a slew of negative comments towards his former home, several Packers players are disappointed in Jennings.

Jennings first referred to Green Bay as being cookie cutter. He claimed to like the structure and overall nature of the Vikings organization better than that of the Packers where he has spent his entire career. Jennings then went on to call out Rodgers as a bad teammate. The wide receiver ripped the quarterback as a spotlight hog not concerned about the success of the team. Ouch. Now, several Packers players are ripping back on Jennings, including James Jones.

"I was [taken aback by his comments] and I'm extremely close to Greg. I'm the godfather of his middle daughter," Jones said on the NFL Network. "It was a brotherhood here -- him and Aaron especially for seven years, me and him for six. When you leave you don't talk about your brother like that. I'll leave it as that. Since I've been here Aaron's been the leader of this football team and he's been one of those guys who's going to be a leader for a long time."

Jennings spent seven years with the Packers so his comments did come as a surprise to most. He really has Aaron Rodgers to thank for getting him the huge contract with the Minnesota Vikings. Now, if the Packers needed motivation to beat the Vikings, Jennings handed to them on a silver platter considering most of that defense will now be shooting for the receiver's knees.

Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier did not take Jennings' comments lightly. The wide receiver might be new to the team, but Frazier is giving him a lesson in just how players are expected to carry themselves.

"We're the Vikings and we want to talk about us, what we're trying to get done," Frazier said via The Pioneer Press. "That's where our focus has to be. There's so much work to be done, and we don't want to be looking at what's happening with other teams, other teams' players. We've got to focus on us. He's good with that."

Frazer told Jennings it was time to move on and get out of the trash talking business. Rodgers certainly was not bothered by the receiver's comments. He simply laughed off the remarks saying he was not concerned with other people's opinions. Jones is certainly not laughing.
