Bobcats Rumors: Duke Star Seth Curry Would Love To Play In Charlotte After Being Undrafted In NBA Draft, Golden State With Brother Stephen An Option?

The NBA draft has come and gone and after Anthony Bennett was selected as the number one pick, many players have signed with teams after being undrafted following the event, but one notable college star has yet to catch on in Duke's Seth Curry.

The brother of Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry entered the draft in June and was passed over by a number of teams and after getting surgery that kept him from participating in summer workouts, the guard could be a nice pickup for teams looking to fill out their rosters. According to the Sporting News, Curry has said that he wouldn't mind playing for the Charlotte Bobcats, as that is where he grew up and that is where he went to school and he said that he could be a good fit for the team, as he is a guard that can be a role player and knock down shots when needed.

Curry missed out on the summer league and draft workouts after dealing with shin surgery and now he is hoping to catch on with somebody. Curry is a good shooter like his brother is with Golden State and he hit over 40 percent from three last year as a senior at Duke. While he is a smaller player for his position, scouts said the same thing about his brother and chances are Curry will get an invitation in camp somewhere, possibly even in Golden State. The Bobcats were not a good three point shooting team and Ben Gordon was the only player to average over 35 percent and as a team they shot 33 percent from three.

Gerald Henderson returned to the team and they also signed Al Jefferson, meaning things might be turning around for a team that won 28 games over the past two seasons. The team is also moving toward being renamed the Hornets after next year. Henderson is not a three point shooter and Curry could help in that area after starring for Duke, who lost to Louisville in the Elite Eight.

"It's my home," Curry said. "This is where I grew up. I would love to come back here and play."
