Oakland Raiders Training Camp Rumors: Tracy Porter Cool With Charles Woodson Jersey Swap, Puts No. 24 Behind Him As CB Gets Part Winery Ownership?

The Oakland Raiders brought back Charles Woodson to the team after years in the hopes that he can bring leadership and a veteran presence to the team and after working out a deal with Tracy Porter to get his No. 24 jersey back, it appears that is ready to keep happening.

According to Pro Football Talk, Porter has put the deal behind him and said that he is ready to move on and play football in training camp and work hard to be the best he can for the team. He said that he wasn't upset that Woodson got preference over him for the number without consent and added that he won't let it bother him as the team moves through camp. Porter said the main reason it came up was because he talked about it and now he has moved on.

Porter joked that he might try and get something out of Woodson, like a .5 percent ownership in his winery or something else, but that it isn't an issue anymore. Woodson started his career in Oakland with the number and now that he has it, Porter is ready to move on and continue playing for the team. He may have a larger role now that DJ Hayden is out and he joins Mike Jenkins and two of the new players brought in by Reggie McKenzie in the secondary at corner.

"The jersey situation is what it is," Porter said, via Scott Bair of CSNBayArea.com. "It got some attention because I spoke out about it. I didn't like the way it was handled, but whatever man. I'm not going to leave camp because my jersey number was switched."
