Atletico Madrid forward Diego Costa says he's happy with the Spanish club, despite all the advances from Liverpool looking to add him to their roster.
"I'm well here, I'm happy here," he was quoted as saying by AS after returning to Madrid with Atletico from a pre-season tour to South America.
"As I've been in Argentina and Uruguay, I've not heard anything about this.
"I'm happy here, if the club want me to be here, I'm going to be here.
"I think that the coach (Diego Simeone) counts on all of us, not just me. He knows how important it is to maintain the squad, the fans know it as well."
Meanwhile, Liverpool also has to deal with the unhappiness of forward Luis Suarez.
Suarez's agent Pere Guardiola claimed that Liverpool verbally agreed to negotiate if an offer of more than £35m came in and that while they would never sell to bitter rivals Manchester United, offers from big London clubs, Real Madrid or Bayern Munich would be entertained.
Suarez also said that Liverpool promised to tell him about any negotiations and now he feels let down because they've rejected an offer from Arsenal.
Now all that remains to be seen is whether or not Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers can keep a player whose intent is on leaving.
