Tiger Woods is the most popular golfer in the world and he now has the number one ranking back and after winning last week at the Bridgestone Invitational, which he has done eight times, Woods is again the favorite at this week's major.
According to Yahoo Sports, Woods caused a bit of a stir when he started signing autographs for some fans near a fence at Oak Hill during a practice round, as people started pushing forward too hard, crushing and nearly knocking down the fence. Woods smiled after he left, but he was serious later when he said he was worried about a girl who fell down as she was trying to get an autograph and he cautioned the staff and others when doing a session like that in the future.
"She was just on the ground crying," Woods told reporters. "People get so aggressive for autographs. And security is trying to be aggressive to protect the little kids up front. You try and sign, but sometimes the adults start running over the little kids up front, and especially on a fence like that, on a hard fence, it can get dangerous sometimes."
