Ronda Rousey is a UFC champion and one of the most well-known and popular prize fighters in the world and now she can add another title to her resume, as she is the Maxim cover girl for the September issue.
Rousey has helped build up a female fan base in the sport and he next fight will be against Miesha Tate at UFC 168 on Dec. 28 in Las Vegas and she also is filming the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rousey vs. Team Tate and will also star in the next Expendables film. Rousey has also been on ESPN the Magazine and she made the cover for the second time and she joined Robert Griffin III, Bryce Harper and Blake Griffin as the other cover athletes. The issue will be out on May 3 and she is the one athlete from MMA to make it after she appeared on the cover of the body issue in 2012 and she has been a pioneer as the first woman champion in UFC.

Rousey made a nice payday as the co-main event at UFC 157, but not quite as much as the male fighters, including Dan Henderson and Urijah Faber, who each made six figures while Rousey made $90,000 for her fight. The event was held at the Honda Center in Anaheim last Saturday and the fighter salaries for all athletes involved in the event were released were released to MMAWeekly.com on Wednesday by the California State Athletic Commission.
