The final Grand Slam event of the season will feature the finest men's and women's players in the world taking to the court Wednesday as the U.S. Open gets bigger with each passing day.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, world No.1 Novak Djokovic will take center stage in the late afternoon to face Argentine Juan Monaco. This match is expected to be a nice warm up for Djokovic who has been playing some very impressive tennis in recent days. Though he hasn't been at the top of his performance, his attitude and belief has never looked any better.
Another key fixture in the days matches will feature Serena Williams taking on Eugenie Bouchard of Westmount, Quebec.
Bouchard, ranked 62, beat Puig - ranked 51 in the world - after winning two qualifying matches to reach the main draw. Williams, who cruised to victory at the Rogers Cup in Toronto, will be playing her first match in the tournament, as she received a free pass to the second round in Cincinnati.
With so many other matches going on around the Lindner Tennis Center, here's a list of the more recognizable matches to take place Wednesday: Juan Martin del Potro vs Nikolay Davydenko (Court 3, 2nd on), Venus Williams vs Elena Vesnina (Court 3, 3rd on), Dmitry Tursunov vs James Blake (Court 9, 3rd on), Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci vs Daniela Hantuchova and Martina Hingis (Court 9, 4th on), Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares vs Max "The Beast" Mirnyi and Horia Tecau (Court 10, 2nd on).
The evening matches will feature Rafael Nadal on center court against qualifier Benjamin Becker at around 7 p.m.
