Chicago Weather Report: Forecast for Bears' Thursday Night Game at Soldier Field Against the Chargers

Aug 15, 2013 03:45 PM EDT

The Chicago Bears take on the San Diego Chargers at Soldier Field. As they get ready to host this meeting, the forecast will be decent as Mother Nature will send of mixture of conditions to fans and players on the field.

The important thing is that it will not rain. The humidity will be over 50 percent, but it doesn't look as though it will get to rain before the conclusion of the game. At 8 p.m. ET, right around kickoff, it will be 69 degrees with a southeast breeze lightly blowing at 4 MPH.

The humidity will rise into the 70's at around 11 p.m. ET, as the game will be concluding. It will be 64 degrees Fahrenheit with the humidity sitting anywhere between 72 percent and 75 percent.

It will be a chance for these young Bear players to get acclimated to their home grounds. One young guy the Bears are keeping their eyes on and hoping he does well is wide receiver, Marquess Wilson. He led the team with 82 yards receiving in their loss to the Carolina Panthers. In case the weather plays games and decides to bring precipitation to Chicago, sitting around watching this young kid play will be worth it. The Bears are looking to concentrate on finding a companion for their No. 1 receiver, Brandon Marshall. If Wilson can continue impressing, the job will be his as the Bears' No. 2.
