NY Giants Eli Manning Could Be Top 5 Fantasy Football Quarterback In 2013 With Hakeem Nicks Healthy, Carson Palmer Big For Larry Fitzgerald

The preseason is moving along and with fantasy leagues drafting all over the place, owners will be looking sleepers and other surprises they can use to get the best advantage they can in their league and at the quarterback position two players that could end up in the top five include Eli Manning and Carson Palmer.

Carson Palmer is an interesting option after he was traded to the Cardinals and teaming with Larry Fitzgerald will do wonders for both, especially because the wideout had no QB help last season. Palmer put up solid numbers with the Raiders and if he can mesh well with the new offense in Arizona, big numbers will come.

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning has won two Super Bowls so he isn't exactly a sleeper, but many times he is overlooked for names like his brother Peyton, Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees, but as he gets older he is developing into a consistent fantasy option and after bringing back Victor Cruz, he should put up big numbers. Manning and the Giants were hurt by Hakeem Nicks' injury last season and now with him healthy and Cruz back, all three should be prime fantasy options for the season.

Manning also had Brandon Myers in the fold after he made 79 catches last season for the Raiders and with David Wilson and Andre Brown starting for the first time, the Giants may be even more pass dependent than in recent seasons. Manning should be motivated to have a great year after missing the playoffs last season and with Cruz back in the fold and rookie Justin Pugh on the offensive line, everyone around Manning should be improved.

Sam Bradford with the Rams has been progressing steadily each season and with Tavon Austin in the fold, the team should be much better on offense. The team also had Jared Cook on offense along with Chris Givens and Brian Quick and Bradford should put up big numbers this season. Nick Foles is an interesting option if he can win the job, as he could fit well with Chip Kelly's offense and as a sleeper, he likely will be available in later rounds. Weeden also is an interesting pick and with Rob Chudzinski coming in to take over as coach and Norv Turner taking over the offense, Weeden could develop into a nice late fantasy round option.
