The New England Patriots are considered a classy organization and the team will do another event that shows why on Friday night, as they will be honoring law enforcement and MIT police officer Sean Collier, who was killed in the aftermath of the Boston bombing and subsequent manhunt.

According to ESPN Boston, the team will honor Collier and other members of the "the Massachusetts State Police, Foxborough Police Department, Boston Police Department, Watertown Police Department, MBTA Transit Police Department and MIT Police Department," as it is the first home game of the season after the team played against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1 of the preseason. Collier was a Pats fan and the report says that he was going to have season tickets for the first time in 2013. According to ESPN.com, the team has invited 90 police officers to take place in the annual pregame "Thank You" along with 90 fans who will greet the team as they are introduced.
