Aaron Hernandez Girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins Worried About Gun In Double Murder, Fiance To Appear In Court For Probable Cause Hearing?

The Aaron Hernandez murder case has an important date this week, as the Patriots tight end will be in court for the probable cause hearing that was delayed back in July and when he arrives, there will be plenty of news surrounding the case, as a trial could be coming in 2014.

Hernandez is being held without bail for the murder of Odin Lloyd and now news has come out from CNN and other outlets that the gun in another murder that Hernandez MIGHT be linked to was located. The murder weapon in the Odin Lloyd killing has not yet been located and this gun was a different caliber than the one that police think was used in the Lloyd murder. According to ESPN.com, police searched looked into Hernandez's fiancé regarding the possibility of the murder weapon being hidden and they searched a storage unit in her name for the gun, but did not find anything.

Reports said that police looked at surveillance and felt that Jenkins took something out of the house the day after the murder, including a "rigid" box in a bag that she placed in her car. When she returned the bag was no longer there and according to police, an interview with her sister put them onto Jenkins. Jenkins's sister Shaneah was reportedly day6ing Lloyd at the time of his death and the four were considered friends. Jenkins might be worried now about the second gun from the double murder, as reports have said that Lloyd's death may have been linked to that murder, as Hernandez may have killed him because of knowledge of the previous double murder.

The gun was recovered, according to CNN, from a traffic accident earlier in the summer involving Jailene Diaz-Ramos. The search of the car turned up the gun and ammunition and after ballistics tests, the .38 matched the bullets from that murder and at the time Ramos was not licensed to carry the gun and she was charged with possession as well as possession of ammunition without a license and improper storage of a firearm. Ramos said that the gun was her boyfriend's and that he was the last one to use the car "to visit a football player" although the report says she did not give the name of the player, only calling him "Chicago"

Adding to the mix is the fact that Ramos is from Bristol where Hernandez is from and her boyfriend is from there as well. In the double murder, police located an SUV believed to be at the scene from Hernandez's uncle's home and now they have the gun as well. Police are looking into whether the crimes are connected and whether Hernandez had anything to do with it.

Hernandez is facing life in prison for the charged and Ramos was released on bail after appearing in court. Hernandez will be in court on Thursday and it is unclear whether or not Jenkins will be there to see him, as she was there in previous appearances.
