AC Milan will be wary of the threat posed by PSV Eindhoven when the two sides lock horns in the first leg of the Champions League playoff Tuesday.
Arguably the tie of the playoffs sees two of the big names in the European games pitted against each other and the man who has seen it all - PSV coach Phillip Cocu - is confident of a positive result.
"We have a good idea how Milan are doing at the moment even though they have not played any official matches yet," Cocu, whose side beat SV Zulte Waregem 5-0 on aggregate in the third qualifying round, said. "We have a good idea about the way they play and their individual players. We are well prepared.
"Sometimes you can use your own experience if needed to help the team. Of course the current teams are different. However the differences at the top of football are small. It's about details. Milan are a top team. Small mistakes will be punished immediately by them."
Cocu is sweating on the fitness of Park Ji Sung and Zakaria Bakkali while Luciano Narsingh is a long-term absentee.
Milan will be without injured trio Robinho, Mattia De Sciglio and Luca Antonini but Mario Balotelli is expected to be available after overcoming an injury which kept him out of the Italy game last week.
"His knee is doing well and is getting better," Milan manager Massimilliano Allegri said. "He is an important player and he can make the difference for us. He could be decisive for Milan.
"PSV have a new team, a very good team. They can play good passing football and they can score easily. Confidence is high at PSV.
"For Milan these will be special matches. For us it seems like a quarterfinal. PSV are a bit ahead with the start of the season. We have not played competitive matches, only friendlies. So we are behind in physical terms compared with PSV."
