Aaron Hernandez will be back in court for the first time since July for a probable cause hearing that was previously delayed and the hearing will have prosecutors presenting evidence in the murder case of Odin Lloyd, for which Hernandez is charged with first degree murder.
According to ESPN.com, the judge originally delayed the probable cause hearing to give lawyers more time to present their evidence to a grand jury and if the jury comes back before the hearing, it will be cancelled. Hernandez could be indicted for the murder soon and so far he has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is facing life in prison.
Lloyd was found shot to death near the home of Hernandez on June 17 and the former Patriots tight end was arrested soon after. Hernandez has been painted as the orchestrator of the murder and he has been tied to it with various evidence, although he proclaims that he is innocent.
