The New York Times Sports section has some amazing articles and in a new series "Remote Control: Inside the Power of ESPN", a number of articles tackle the network at an interesting time, as Fox Sports 1 launches and college football begins.
Over the past week James Andrew Miller has write about the NFL and the Frontline concussion story as well as about how the NFL pressured the network to back out of the partnership with PBS and Frontline for a series on concussions. Miller along with Richard Sandomir and Steve Eder and other writers have tackled a number of topics, including ESPN's influence in college sports and how a partnership with Louisville has helped the school upgrade its sports big time.
