Fantasy Football Spread Sheets With Stats, Ranks and Advice For 2013 Season Drafts

Aug 29, 2013 03:11 PM EDT

The fantasy football season is gearing up for full blast next Thursday and with real NFL teams still figuring out rosters and who to cut down to the 53-man rosters on Saturday's deadline, fantasy players are studying and strategizing who to draft and when.

Spread sheets and other research can be a great help and here in the article are some links to help you out in finding the best fantasy players. 2013 appears to be a good year for sleepers and some names include David Wilson, Sam Bradford, Eric Decker, Ben Tate, Shane Vereen, Jordan Cameron, Vincent Brown and many more.

The players at the top are mostly the same with names like Adrian Peterson and others, but there are also solid options in the later first and second rounds, including Calvin Johnson, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, AJ Green, Marshawn Lynch and Ray Rice. This season the players at the top appear very ready to have great seasons and drafting strong in the first two rounds usually is a precursor to a solid season.

Research is key for fantasy football and as it gets late in the preseason, it is important to watch if anyone gets injured and who can step up in their place. Injuries to players like Michael Crabtree and Percy Harvin are a big deal for teams and players will need to come in and take over their production. The Ravens had that issue with Dennis Pitta and the Miami Dolphins with Dustin Keller and there could be more in Week 4 of the preseason.
