Green Bay Packers vs. Chiefs Score: Live Stream Watch Free NFL Preseason Game Online Thursday At 8 PM

Aug 29, 2013 07:57 PM EDT

The Green Bay Packers have the best quarterback in the NFL and heading into the 2013 season, Aaron Rodgers is still looking to get better and after getting embarrassed the past two years in the playoffs by the New York Giants and the San Francisco 49ers, the team is ready to get back to the NFC championship game and he has the offense to do it.

Rodgers has some fantastic receivers in Randall Cobb, James Jones and Jordy Nelson and with Greg Jennings leaving in free agency for the Vikings, all three should put up even better numbers than last season. Rodgers is one of the most accurate and productive quarterbacks in the NFL and this season he may have a running game to finally help him out after years of being inconsistent and basically doing nothing, especially at times last season.

The team drafted Eddie Lacy and Jonathan Franklin and even though they lost DuJuan Harris to a knee injury, they have depth with Alex Green and James Starks and even though the offensive line is a mess, they could still be productive. The balance could be exactly what the Packers need on offense and the defense has looked like it is trending the right direction now after giving up way too many yards in previous seasons. Mike McCarthy has won a Super Bowl and is a very good head coach and there is no reason to think why the Packers can't win the division.

The team is playing the Chiefs in their final preseason game after losing to the Cardinals, winning against the Rams and losing to the Seattle Seahawks last week they will visit Kansas City. The team opens the season with games against the San Francisco 49ers and the Washington Redskins before playing the Bengals and then they will have a bye week before playing the Detroit Lions. The Ravens are next and then they will play the Browns and the Vikings before the Bears on Monday Night Football.
