With the transfer window slowly closing and there being a limited number of players left to bid for, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says there is "no panic" as transfer deadline approaches.
So far Wenger has failed with bids for Liverpool's Luis Suarez and Newcastle's Yohan Cabaye, while Chelsea have remained stern that Juan Mata will not be allowed to leave.
As the Frenchman prepares to face Borussia Dortmund, as well as Napoli and Marseille, in Europe, he remains to firm on his notion that there is no need to panic.
"(When?) I don't know. I am confident. We will not panic buy, that is for sure. It's not my strength to panic.
"You need good players in every position, and especially you need an attitude and way to play the game. The players here know the way we want to play and that is important.
"If we can add players who can integrate with that style of play we will do it.
"We work very hard on that, if we cannot we will not do anything stupid just for the sake of saying that we have done something. We do what makes sense or not, that is simple."
Though he hasn't made any major signings this summer, Wenger has told striker Lukas Podolski that he is still wanted with the Gunners even after the German was linked to rumors of him returning home.
Podolski made his first start of the season with two goals in a 3-1 win at Fulham just hours after it was reported that he could join Schalke on loan.
After watching his side secure a first league win of the campaign, Wenger made it clear he is to keep Podolski.
The Gunners also have in sight QPR's Julio Cesar after his move to Benfica collapsed over wages. The Brazil No.1 who has been on Arsenal's radar all summer wants around £70000 a week.
