Now that the NFL preseason is all finished and all 32 teams have played their final game, it means that the fantasy football season is truly about to start and after a summer where no major players fantasy-wise were lost for the season, it's time to look at some mock drafts and advice to help win your fantasy league.
Here are some draft and fantasy advice from Sports World Report on running back rankings, wide receivers, sleepers and other advice and with the season starting next Thursday, Rotoworld offers a wide range of draft resources and articles, including ones that have expert mock drafts, player rankings, sleepers and more. The website usually has some of the best fantasy coverage and they do a great job of breaking down players by position as well as by tier and also projections.
This season in fantasy the consensus has Adrian Peterson as the number one pick and while he likely will not get to 2,000 yards again, everyone agrees that he should be number one when it comes to running backs, with players like Arian Foster, Doug Martin and Marshawn Lynch behind him. The running back position looks very strong this season and in leagues without PPR, they have to be considered the most valuable players.
In leagues with PPR, Reggie Bush should be considered a top pick, so should Ray Rice and Matt Forte and one of the biggest players in fantasy this year should be LeSean McCoy. The past two seasons he has dealt with some injuries, but he put up amazing numbers two years ago and with Michael Vick back and Chip Kelly coming in, he should have another big season. CJ Spiller is a sleeper as first round pick and Trent Richardson and Alfred Morris should not be overlooked either.
At wideout obviously Calvin Johnson is first with Brandon Marshall and AJ Green at the top and names like Julio Jones and Victor Cruz could also be great as well. Dez Bryant was a beast last season and other first round options include Steven Jackson as well as Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers.
