The U.S Open is back in full swing on Saturday and some notable players will be playing after Friday's matches, including Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams, Caroline Wozniacki and Roger Federer among more and this comes after last night's matches lasted past midnight again.
Williams advanced and now will play Sloane Stephens in one of the most anticipated matches of the year, while Arthur Ashe will have some great matches, including Roger Federer playing along with Wozniacki, while Louis Armstrong will have Victoria Azarenka and John Isner playing along with Tommy Robredo. Nadal looked great last time out and he has won a ton of tournaments on tour this year and won two straight on hardcourts for the first time in his career and Williams comes in after winning eight this year and she has been great all year, going on an amazing run and she won the US Open last year and now will play a rival American in the third round.
Richard Gasquet will be playing as well and some of the doubles matches will be featured, including the Williams sisters and it comes after Serena had to stay up late and play her match, but she won in straight sets and that came after Lleyton Hewitt defeated Juan Martin del Potro in five sets and now the former number one player will advance. The five set match was epic and pushed Williams to midnight and Hewitt won after previously being number one back in the day for 80 weeks and he still is the youngest slam champion for the men, doing it at 10 years old previously.
