Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, after successful landing Werder Bremen's Marko Marin's for a transfer fee of £6.5 million, is reportedly looking to make a bid somewhere between £14 million to £15.5 million for Bayer Leverkusen (German club) forward André Schürrle following his plan to rebuild the Blues squad by getting some quality talent this summer, according to a Telegraph report.

The 23-year-old German forward, who is hopeful of making to the German squad for the forthcoming Euros in Poland and Ukraine, will be perfect signing for Chelsea, who are looking to add some young talent this summer.

Schürrle, who Bayern Leverkusen only a year back, reportedly impressed Abramovich and his comrades during Chelsea's clash with the German club in the early stages of the Champions League. Standing over just 6ft tall the German striker has the ability to play as a striker as well as a winger.

Although, Chelsea have not yet made an official offer to Bayern Leverkusen they have reportedly made enquires about Schürrle's availability this summer. The German outfits, who acquired Schürrle from Mainz at a transfer fee of £ 6.5million, will not be parting with the talented striker unless Chelsea make a very generous bid for him.

Getting Schürrle is only a part of a larger scheme being hatched by the Russian oil billionaire, who is reportedly trying to get as many players as possible in his the Blues squad. Chelsea, who are being described as a "hungry, young team," are still waiting for the appointment of their permanent manager.

Sigining new players will be very important for Abramovich especially if he is going to go ahead with his "mass clearance" plan that is intended on clearing the Blues camp of players, who have failed to perform or underperformed this season.

Abramovich may have had a change of heart after his boys, led by interim manager Roberto Di Matteo, made it to the finals of the FA Cup and Champions League this season.

Still the Russian has big plans of getting Real Madrid duo Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo Higuaín or Napoli strikers Ezequiel Lavezzi and Edinson Cavani, as an alternative to first preference, reported the Guardian.

Elsewhere, the Blues are also reportedly looking to sign Atlético Madrid's Colombian sensation Radamel Falcao, who is also on the radar of Manchester City and Real Madrid, according to a Daily Mail report.

Falcao would be an ideal replacement for Ivorian striker Didier Drogba, who will most probably be leaving Stamford Bridge this summer.

Chelsea's latest signing of German midfielder Marko Marin from Werder Bremen at a transfer fee of £6.5million, came as a big surprise to everyone because  the 23-year-old is not a very renowned name like FC Koln's Lukas Podolski or Bayern Munich's Thomas Müller in the German League. Marin has also not had an exceptionally good campaign with Werder Bremen this season.

Tottenham Hotspur, who were looking to land Marin long before Chelsea's indulgence, will certainly being knowing the secret behind the Blues odd signing of the 23-year-old.
