Monday Night Football brings the Philadelphia Eagles vs. the Washington Redskins in the NFL's Week 1. Here's the game time and TV schedule with kick off and channel where you can watch the game live.
Time: 7:10 p.m. ET
TV- Channel: ESPN, ESPN Deportes
The action comes to you in both English and Spanish. It is the first MNF game that counts in the 2013 season and the teams facing off are NFC rivals and some of the more popular teams in football.
There's a lot of hype behind both teams' 2013 campaign.
It couldn't be more obvious for the Redskins. They are looking forward to 2013 because they will defend their NFC title after finishing in first place last season. They made it to the playoffs, though they were bounced in the Wild Card game by the Seattle Seahawks. With Robert Griffin III returning for his second season along with running back Alfred Morris, who shocked many last season, the Redskins offense is primed for success. RG3 and Morris combined for over 2,400 rushing yards with 20 touchdowns. That is a ton of offense and a lot of broken tackles.
The biggest question mark the Redskins face in 2013 is RG3's health. While the rest of the NFL really wishes him well in his ACL recovery, they don't want anything to do with the second-year back out of Baylor.
The Eagles are excited about their season because they have a new toy in 2013, which is their coach's playbook. With Coach Kelly at the helm, the Eagles will introduce a new hurry-up system to the NFL that will test the endurance of their opponents. The Eagles have had stacks of talents in previous seasons, however, this time, they might have found the right formula to match their players' abilities.
The Dallas Cowboys are already in front of the division after a tight victory over the New York Giants. Will we be treated to another NFC East battle or will one team blow the other out of the water? Tune in and find out!
