Amar'e Stoudemire Refuses to Help Up Shane Battier [ VIDEO ]

New York Knicks forward Amar'e Stoudemire offered a helping hand to Shane Battier before pulling it back when the Miami Heat player went to grab it.

Stoudemire offered a hand to Battier at the end of the fourth quarter before pulling it back once he realized he had accumulated his sixth personal foul and was out of the game.

Stoudemire fouled out after putting up 14 points and four rebounds in the Knicks' 106-94 loss to the Miami Heat that knocked New York out of the playoffs.

"Miami is a very good team," Stoudemire said. "You have to give credit to them."

The max contract player had a difficult series against the Heat after injuring his left hand in frustration after a Game 2 loss in Miami. Stoudemire punched a fire extinguisher case after the loss and had to get stitches and missed Game 3 because of it.

He rebounded with a strong performance in a Game 4 win at Madison Square Garden, but ultimately didn't have the type of performance he would have liked.
