It's time for some Thursday Night Football. Check out all the information regarding tonight's game as we bring you time, TV channel, matchups and predictions as the second week of the NFL season is set to take off.

Game Time: 8:25 p.m. ET

TV-Channel: NFL Network

Week 2 Matchup: New England Patriots vs. New York Jets

How perfect? It's a game between AFC East rivals. The Jets are far from accomplishing what the Patriots have done as a franchise, but this team always believes in itself year after year. The Jets trust their rookie and second-round pick, Geno Smith, to get them through this season. Mark Sanchez appears to be out for the remainder of 2013, which might be a good thing for the Jets.

In comparison to the Patriots, the Jets always manage to steal headlines for a lot of stupid things that take place in their locker room. With Sanchez out with an injury, it removes a quarterback from the Jets' roster. Heading into the preseason, the Jets were trying out five different quarterbacks, which probably made their "franchise" QB, Sanchez, feel a bit unwanted.

The only worry the Patriots have after releasing Tim Tebow, is staying healthy. Health means the Patriots can remain competitive. Danny Amendola seems to always be unhealthy, while the Patriots will need Shane Vereen to remain on the field, giving Tom Brady options on offense. Vereen carries the run game for the Patriots and keeps defenses on their toes as Brady searches for Amendola down field. Unfortunately for the Patriots, both Vereen and Amendola might be out from today's game, forcing Brady to depend on less skilled and experienced guys on offense.

Predictions
These were the predictions made for this game. Though the Pats are injured, they seem like the more organized team, which is why they are still the favorite for tonight's game.
