The Yankees and Mariners face off for the first time this year as the two teams begin a three game set in the Bronx.
Hiroki Kuroda takes on Felix Hernandez in New York at 7:05 p.m. ET. If you can't get to a television, you can watch a live stream of the game online here.
Hernandez has had a tremendous amount of success against the Yankees, especially on the road. King Felix is 3-0 with a 0.38 earned run average in three starts at the new Yankee Stadium.
Kuroda has only faced the Mariners once in his career. He's 2-4 with a 3.75 ERA in his first season with the Yankees.
The Yankees have taken five of the last seven games against the Mariners.
New York has had its struggles of late. The Yankees are three games over .500, putting them in fourth place in the American League East. Seattle, as expected, has struggled even more. They are 6.5 games behind the first place Rangers.
The Yankees are coming off a series with the Rays in which they narrowly missed sweeping their division rivals. David Robertson blew a save in the only game the Bronx Bombers lost. Robertson stepped in the closer's role after Mariano Rivera went down for the season with a torn ACL.
The series between the Yankees and Mariners will conclude with Andy Pettitte's first start since 2010.
