The New York Giants and Carolina Panthers face off in Week 3 of the 2013 season. Both teams are 0-2, seeking their first win of the season and somebody will get it. Check out the live streaming action online as the Giants and Panthers kicks off at 1 p.m. ET
The Panthers will be hosting the Giants. Both teams have seen good things from their layers in 2013. The Giants have a great passing game. Led by Victory Cruz who has 236 receiving yards and Hakeen Nicks who has 197 receiving yards, Eli Manning has targets to hit down field. They present a challenge to any secondary in the league and the Panthers will surely have their hands full this afternoon.
For the Panthers, their running game will be key. DeAngelo Williams has almost three times as many total yards rushed than the Giants' running backs, David Wilson and Da'Rel Scott. Williams has racked up 171 rushing yards in 39 carries this season. As a matter of fact, Cam Newton, the Panthers' quarterback, has rushed for more yards than the Giants; backs too. Newton has gone for 53 yards in nine carries.
Who will grab their first victory of the year? The Panthers might fall too behind if they lose once again this week as the New Orleans Saints are off to a fast start with a 2-0 record. The Giants, however, though they don't want to start their season 0-3, play in a weaker division where no team has quite dominated.
The Giants have competed in their games, but eventually, they lose it in the second half when their opponents step up their game. Turnovers have been a huge problem and if this continues, the Giants will likely lose once again. The Panthers' problem last week was a penalty that gave the Buffalo Bills an extra play, which ended up in the end zone. The Panthers had that game locked up, but they could not slam the door.
