San Diego Chargers vs. Tennessee Titans Live Stream: Watch Online NFL Game Listen Radio Stream Sunday Week 3

Sep 22, 2013 01:07 PM EDT

The San Diego Chargers are coming off of an emotional comeback win over the Philadelphia Eagles on the road and with the team 1-1, they will travel again to play the Tennessee Titans on Sunday in Week and the teams are both looking to improve to 2-1 at 1 pm and the game will be on CBS.

Another game that should be interesting in the league after the Chargers and the Titans is the Saints and the Cardinals. The New Orleans Saints are 2-0 early in the 2013 season and that is a drastic change from last year when the team started 0-4 and ended up missing the playoffs after coach Sean Payton was suspended for his role in the bounty scandal.

The Saints appear to be back to their Super Bowl form on offense after getting Payton back and while quarterback Drew Brees has not yet put up the video game numbers that he did last season, the offense looks more consistent and cohesive and the former champion is the main reason why. The Saints fortunes turned around when Brees came there and that is why he will be so integral to their success or failure this season.

Brees helped pull out the win on Sunday against the Bucs in tough conditions and he did it in the first week as well in a crucial game with the Falcons. This season Brees has passed for nearly 700 yards and three touchdowns over two games and he will be the primary focus of the Cardinals defense in Week 3 when they come to the Superdome. As usual, Brees's favorite target has been tight end Jimmy Graham and since he is entering a contract year, he is thrilled about the results so far.

Graham has put up some fantastic numbers over the past two seasons, in no small part because of Brees, and this year he already has racked up 15 catches for 224 yards and two of Brees's three touchdown passes, which come out to better numbers that most receivers this season. The running game has not been great for the team, but that will come as time goes on and they have a talented trio of backs in Pierre Thomas, Darren Sproles and Mark Ingram.

When the Saints play under Payton, things are explosive and the team has not lost a game under his leadership since back in 2011 and they are going to hope for a 3-0 start so that they can put their 0-4 start from last season totally behind them. The Saints have won two close games and one of the biggest reasons has been the play of the secondary, which has been much improved from last season under new defensive coordinator Rob Ryan. The team needs to play better overall on defense, but so far Ryan's impact has been felt.

The team is ranked fifth in the league in passing yards per game and that's no surprise after what Brees did last year and they already are averaging nearly 320 yards per game. The team is ranked 24th in rushing yards per game with under 80, but the team played two solid teams on rush defense and they might be able to do some more against the Cardinals in Week 3. The team has been great in the secondary, ranking eighth in passing yards allowed, but they need to watch the rush defense, as it is already ranked 27ths in the league in yards allowed per game through two contests.

The Saints have a tough schedule coming up after the Cardinals, as the Miami Dolphins are next on Monday night football and then the team has two very tough road games next. The team travels to Chicago to play the Bears and then has the New England Patriots next before their bye in Week 7. The team plays Buffalo and the Jets next and their biggest game in the second half comes against the Seahawks on Monday night football, which comes after a tough stretch against Dallas, San Fran and Atlanta in consecutive weeks.
