The Jets and Bills saw different results in Week 2. For the Jets, sloppiness and defeat dominated their story line against the New England Patriots. Though the Jets kept the Patriots close and Tom Brady was not at his best, the Jets could not take advantage, losing 13-10.
The Bills needed some intervention in their victory over the Carolina Panthers last week. The Bills took advantage of a second opportunity as E.J. Emanuel won his first NFL game. The Bills beat the Panthers 24-23 and it was surely an emotional moment for the rookie.
Another rookie looking to make a difference is on the opposing team. Geno Smith hopes to remain at the helm as the Jets' quarterback. However, talks of Matt Simms taking over the QB position stole some headlines.
Can Smith lead the Jets to victory? Can Emanuel produce more great drives as the Bills seek their second victory of the year? Both teams are 1-1. Both teams are relying on rookies to give them a chance to make the playoffs.
