The Steelers are still searching for their first win in 2013. They have struggled mainly on offense as their team lacks a trustworthy playmaker. Ben Roethlisberger is by himself on offense, with Mike Wallace taking his talents down to Miami.
The Bears appear to be getting better with time. They had a decent 2012 campaign, but in Brandon Marshall's second year, Jay Cutler is off to a great start, finding a trustful target down field. Another pivotal addition for the Bears was Martellus Bennett, who returned to Chicago after spending 2012 with the New York Giants.
The Bears are 2-0, looking for their third win this season. They are first in the NFC North, leading the Detroit Lions by half a game. They are trying to take advantage of a Green Bay Packers loss, the team which is expected to challenge the Bears this season.
The Steelers are 0-2 so far in 2013. They are right behind the always disappointing Jacksonville Jaguars in points averaged through the first two weeks of the season (9.5 pts) and total yards averaged (236 yards). Their running game is also the second worst in the league as they are averaging only 37.5 yards rushing per game.
The Bears and Steelers are two historical teams in the sport. However, in the present, the Bears are the better team this season and should be the better team in this matchup.
