The Seattle Seahawks are on a roll. Sure, their fan base probably saw this coming from a mile away and they can only brag harder after the team tamed the San Francisco 49ers in Week 2. However, the Seahawks see the Houston Texans in Week 4. Will this talented bunch put a blemish on the Seahawks schedule? Let's break this matchup down as the Seahawks still might have the advantage when both teams clash in Reliant Stadium next Sunday.
There is no doubt about it, the Texans have stars on their squad. You can name a number of them on defense and offense; Arian Foster, Andre Johnson, J.J. Watt, to name a few. However, their team looked awfully vulnerable in Week 3 as they faced off against the defending champion Baltimore Ravens. However, it has not been winning teams giving this Houston team trouble in 2013.
In their first two matchups, the Texans' opponents averaged 26 points against them. The Seahawks might not have an onslaught of big time wide receivers, but they have a great mix of players on both sides of the ball. If Russell Wilson is having a tough day passing, Marshawn Lynch can save the day. When the offense struggles, the defense might find its way to the end zone a couple of times or give the offense great places to start their drives. Because of this, the Seahawks can be considered the most balanced team in the league.
It is probably not the best example, but they completely crushed the Jacksonville Jaguars, one of the NFL's worst teams. The Seahawks lit up the scoreboard and Wilson only completed 14 of 21 passes for 202 yards and four touchdowns. The Seahawks scored a total of six touchdowns in this one and they were all offensive. The defense's job on Sunday was making stops so the offense could have the ball and work their magic.

So the Texans have a lot of work to do on defense if they want to stop the Seahawks offense, that lacks explosion, but knows how to get into the end zone and that's all that matters. The Texans have the weapons on offense to challenge the Seahawks' scoring, but Seattle's defense is too potent. Combine that with the Texans' vulnerability on defense as they have allowed an average of 27 points per game, and the Seahawks have to be the favorite in this matchup.
