NY Giants Rumors: Justin Tuck Slams Fair-Weather Fans, Antrel Rolle Expresses Urgency as Tom Coughlin Not Considering Chiefs Game as Must-Win Scenario

There is no denying the fact that right now, the New York Giants are terrible. The team is 0-3 and coming off a shut-out loss to the Carolina Panthers. Many fans are questioning what is wrong and wondering when and if the team will turn things around and avoid a disastrous 0-4 start to the 2013 season. No matter what, Giants players are urging fans to stick by the team.

Defensive end Justin Tuck has time for fan criticism. He is well aware of the struggles facing the team right now and is ripping any fan jumping off the band wagon during the rough patch.

"Don't be a fair-weather fan," Tuck said, via the New Jersey Star-Ledger. "It's about being a fan in the good and the bad. I trust that we're going to try out best to figure this thing out. It won't be because of lack of effort of lack of searching. We'll definitely put forth a great effort and turn over every rock to see if we can turn this thing around."

Tuck is expressing urgency, but Antrel Rolle does not believe it. The safety went on CBS Giants radio to discuss the feeling in the locker room during the losing streak. Rolle said that everyone is fine and is getting along, the issue is that no one is pushing each other. Players are not challenging one another and he believes that needs to change quickly.

"Every team has the same outlook," Rolle said. "Every team has the same amount of pressure. Our pressure is to go out there and win. That's our goal ... We've been hit in the mouth, and we got hit in the mouth extremely bad this Sunday. Sometimes good things come out of bad things that have taken place ... Hopefully that's exactly what we needed ... We will turn this around. Believe that."

The players understand what needs to happen to turn things around. Despite the 0-3 start, head coach Tom Coughlin does not believe Sunday's game is a must-win scenario. The Giants coach is stressing a long season even though 0-4 teams rarely make the playoffs. The Kansas City Chiefs are 3-0 after putting up convincing wins and they will challenge the urgency of the Giants.
