Yahoo Sports Fantasy Week 5: Peyton Manning, Robert Woods, Brian Hoyer, Alshon Jeffery, Ray Rice and Graham Garrett (Analysis Of My FF Team)

The fantasy football season is now about a quarter of the way done with the Saints and Dolphins still to play on Monday night football on ESPN and with a number of exciting games, some players to look at on my team heading into Week 5 includes Peyton Manning, Robert Woods, Brian Hoyer, Alshon Jeffery, Ray Rice and Graham Garrett.

Manning is the main reason why I am winning my main fantasy league and I am very lucky to have him, as are the Denver Broncos, since Manning has thrown for 16 touchdowns this season with zero interceptions. He is completing 75 percent of his passes through four games and he ranks first in the league in a number of categories, including touchdowns, completion percentage, yards and QB rating.

Manning has been an assassin with the football this season and he is spreading things around to all his receivers, including Wes Welker, Julius Thomas, Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker and he has already set the record for passing TDs through four games, no surprise there after he went for seven in Week 1 against the Ravens. Manning has passed for at least 300 yards in every game this season and he has multiple touchdowns in all four games as well.

Manning completed over 80 percent of his passes on Sunday in another dominating win over the Eagles and the team scored over 40 points three times and has not scored less than 37 in any game yet this season. Manning passed for 327 yards and four scores in the game and he should be set for another big game next week, as the Cowboys pass defense has been weak, including this week when they have up over 400 yards passing, something Manning did in Week 1 already.

Robert Woods finally came through with a solid game for me after a couple weeks of not much, as he scored a crucial touchdown and made four catches for 80 yards, averaging 20 yards per catch. The game wasn't explosive, but the fact that Woods had eight targets one week after having 10 targets shows that he is coming on as a receiver and he could be a consistent option for owners heading down the stretch.

Woods almost had two TD grabs in the game after missing one that he couldn't keep control of, but the fact that EJ Manuel trusts him is good for fantasy owners and could also get some attention off Stevie Johnson by defenses. 80 yards is the most he has had in a game this season and he has consistently been getting targets over the past few weeks.

Alshon Jeffery had a breakout game for the Bears, setting a season high with 107 yards on five catches and he also added a touchdown. The Bears lost to the Lions, but Jay Cutler targeted Jeffery 11 times and he ended up with a score for his first of the season and he also rushed for 27 yards, which was more than starter Daryl Richardson did this week for the Rams. Jeffery is starting to get more targets and he has increased his yard and target totals in each of the past three weeks, so he is trending upwards.

Brian Hoyer, Garrett Graham and Ray Rice did well for my team this week too, with Hoyer coming in as the second QB and getting another win. Rice had a solid bounce back game and Graham came in and played well, scoring a TD while also snagging five passes and he could be an option in deeper leagues.
