Not Sure What the Future Holds: Ronaldo

May 18, 2012 09:03 AM EDT

Cristiano Ronaldo has been breaking records left, right, and center ever since moving to Real Madrid, but the Portuguese maestro said he does not know what the future holds.

The former Manchester United striker netted 60 goals for the Los Blancos this season and has been nothing sort of a revelation since making his move from United for a world record fee of 80 million pounds.

"To be honest, I do not know. In the future, nobody knows," Ronaldo told Sky Sports in an interview.

Ronaldo, however, admitted that he is happy at the Bernabeu.

"I feel happy here. It is a great club with fantastic fans. But in the future nobody knows."

Ronaldo has previously said he would like a crack at the Serie A title in Italy after having won the English Premier League crown and La Liga.

"I respect the Italian League. But right now it is third behind Spain and England." Ronaldo told Mediaset.

"But never say never. Someday why not Italy? There are fantastic teams like Inter, Milan and Juventus.

In another interview with CNN, Ronaldo said he considered himself to be better than Lionel Messi.

"Some people say I am better, other people say it's him. But at the end of the day, they are going to decide who is the best player. At the moment, I think it's me."

"You cannot compare a Ferrari with a Porsche because it's a different engine. He does the best things for Barcelona, I do the best things for Real Madrid.
