He's been great in the regular season and has pitched in seven postseason games in his brief career. He has a 2.35 ERA in seven appearances, but this will be his first start ever in October.
Liriano dominated the Texas Rangers in the NL Wild Card Game. He went seven innings, allowing only one earned run on four hits, walking one and striking out five. He has completely owned the Cardinals in 2013 and will looking to gain his fourth victory against them in the year. However, don't sleep on the Cardinals' 25-year-old as he too will go for his fourth victory against his team's divisional rival.
