Watch Game 3 of the NLDS between the Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers online as these two teams meet at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday evening. The winner takes the 2-1 series lead after both teams won a game in Atlanta. Watch as the Braves and Dogers meet in Dodger Stadium as only one team will walk out wiht the victory.
Hyun-Jin Ryu is the Dodgers' pitcher this evening. He has pitched against the Braves twice this season. The Dodgers are 1-1 with Ryu in the mound against the Braves. The first time he faced them in Atlanta, Ryu went only five innings, despite only giving up two earned runs. However, he had issues with his command, walking five Braves this evening. The Braves eventually won 8-5.
The second time, however, backed up by the Dodger crowd, Ryu went 7.2 innings, allowing just one earned run on six hits, walking only one batter and strikiing out six. The Dodgers finished winning that game 2-1, but Ryu did not get the decision.
It is difficult to tell what the Braves will get from their 22-year-old starter, Julio Teheran. The Braves did not even know what they were getting from the Colombian righty during the regular season, but they lucked out as he posted great number during the regular season. Teheran remained a Brave by a hair ass the team was making moves and using their deep farm system to trade for more established players.
Teheran remained with the ball club after going 14-8 with a 3.20 ERA. Ryu has a similar record, but his ERA is .20 runs lower than Teheran's. The Braves' righty never faced the Dodgers in his career.
If the Dodgers prove as good as they were in Game 1, then Tehreran is in trouble. He will have to find a way to get Hanley Ramirez out as the Dodgers' shortstop has lit up Braves' pitching in the first two games of the season.
