The Oregon State Beavers have one of the most contrasting offenses in the country when it comes to passing and running the ball, as they are ranked second in the nation with over 400 passing yards per game and they will put that passing attack to the test on Saturday night as they visit Martin Stadium to take on the Washington State Cougars in a Pac-12 conference game that will be on at 10:30 pm on ESPNU on TV and on Watch ESPN streaming online.

The Beavers have won four straight since losing the opening game in an upset to Eastern Washington by three points in an offensive shootout and they are now 2-0 in the conference as they visit the 4-2 Cougars. The team has scored over 30 points in every game this season and also pulled out a 51-48 overtime victory against Utah on the road and they come into the game against Washington State after defeating Colorado 44-17 two weeks ago. The Beavers are in the middle of a tough stretch with four road games in five weeks and after playing at Washington State, the team travels to play Cal before hosting number five Stanford and then USC in games that will be on ESPN.

The team will play against California and then Stanford next and the Cardinal will be coming off of a loss against Utah from this Saturday that could change the tide in the Pac-12. The team is scoring over 40 points per game, but the defense has not been able to slow anyone down, allowing over 30 points per contest.

The Cougars have been stellar passing the ball as well with over 350 yards per game and the team is averaging over 20 points per contest and in the past four games they have scored over 40 points each time. Apart from the Stanford game, the team has allowed just 32 points over the last three games, but they gave up over 50 to Stanford in the loss.
