Listen to the Green Bay Packers vs. Baltimore Ravens as Baltimore's The Fan, brings the live streaming action online, all for free. This means fans should get ready for this matchup featuring two of the leagues most profitable quarterbacks in Week 6 of the NFL's regular season.
It's Joe Flacco versus Aaron Rodgers. However, though paychecks will not make a different in this battle, the fight is not as even as it might appear.
The debate is still brought up in talk shows all around the country, did Flacco deserve his huge contract? Though many might disagree, the answer is simple; Flacco played big when it mattered most and his bank account is currently reflecting that. The message here to all those young quarterbacks around the league is, win a championship on your contract year and reap from the benefits.
The Ravens are currently trying to do what they can with what they have. They are not the Super Bowl winning team that turned it up at the right time. The Ravens have an average offense with a better defense than most give them credit. Yes, they are missing veterans like Ed Reed and Ray Lewis, but the Ravens can still stop the run and hit hard on defense.
They will have to do a better job covering down field as Rodgers will burn the Ravens' secondary if they are not careful. Coming into Week 6, Rodgers has three favorite targets. That's right, he does not have one or two main receivers, when the Packers spread the field, there are three targers defenses will have to be aware of throughout the game. With Rodgers at the point guard, pardon that, quarterback position, he has hit Jordy Nelson 23 times for 371 yards and three touchdowns, James Jones has 19 receptions for 339 yards and two touchdowns, while Randall Cobb has 325 yards and two scores.
Also impressive, the Packers have a runnign game in 2013. With Eddie Lacy, the rookie, and James Starks in the backfield, the Packers have the fifth best running game, averagin 141 yards per game. However, Starks is out with a knee injuring, hindering the Packers' attack, which is good news for the Ravens, though they have one of the best run defenses in the league.
