The Dallas Cowboys are coming off of an emotional loss to the Denver Broncos after putting up a whopping 48 points and after getting an amazing game from quarterback Tony Romo in the defeat, the team now has to rebound against an NFC East division rival in the Washington Redskins in Week 6 on Sunday night football on NBC starting up at 8:30 PM from At&T Stadium in Texas.
Romo had a fantastic game while passing for over 500 yards last week, even out gaining Peyton Manning, but it wasn't enough to get the Cowboys over the top and he also threw a costly interception at the end of the game that set things up for the Broncos. The team got some great play from Terrance Williams, who led the Cowboys with over 150 receiving yards and Romo stayed up to pace with Manning all game, something amazing when going against a quarterback that has 20 touchdowns and just one interception all season. The team has now lost two straight heading into the SNF matchup and since it is an NFC East game, it is important the team tries to steal a victory at home.

The Cowboys have a tough slate coming up with the Redskins on Sunday night and after that game they will play their second straight division matchup and the first of two games on the road, as they will play three of their next four away from home with the Philadelphia Eagles and Detroit Lions next. The team has a home matchup against the Minnesota Vikings and then the team has a huge primetime matchup against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday night football on the road, which should be a tough matchup since the team was undefeated through five weeks.
The Cowboys have a tough back stretch as well after the bye week, as an east coast trip to the New York Giants comes in Week 12 and then the team hosts the Oakland Raiders. The Monday night football matchup in Week 14 against the Chicago Bears should be a tough test and that will be yet another prime time game for the team and then the Cowboys host the Green Bay Packers at home. The team then travels to play the Washington Redskins and they finish with two crucial division games and for the third season in a row they could decide the division on the final day when they play against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 17.
The Cowboys are coming into the game ranked in the top 10 in passing yards per game in the league and the team is playing very well against the run, ranking fourth in yards allowed per game so far this season. The Redskins are 1-3 coming into the game and they are giving up way too many yards passing and rushing on defense, ranked 28th in 31st in those categories and the team definitely needs to rebound. The Redskins are coming off of their first win against the Raiders and out of the bye they play three tough games with the Cowboys, Chicago Bears and then the Denver Broncos on the road.
