Andrew Luck has been one of the best young quarterbacks in the league since being drafted number one overall before last season and now he will make his debut on Monday Night Football for the Indianapolis Colts as they travel to play the San Diego Chargers for Week 6 on ESPN at 8:30 PM from Qualcomm Stadium.
The Colts are coming into the game after defeating the Seattle Seahawks last week and they have been one of the surprising teams in the NFL this season, going 4-1 as one of the top teams in the conference. The Colts are first in their division in the AFC South this season and they could extend their lead even more with a win over the Chargers, as the Tennessee Titans, Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars all lost over the weekend, with the Jags falling to 0-6. The Colts are in the middle of playing three games on the road in four weeks and with a win from Luck on Monday night, they will improve to 4-0 within that span.
The Colts opened up the season with a win over the Raiders at home before losing their only game against the Oakland Raiders and since that defeat, the team has won three straight games, including two on the road against the San Francisco 49ers and the Jacksonville Jaguars before defeating fellow 2012 draft pick Russell Wilson and the Seahawks at home last week. Luck comes into the game while completing over 60 percent of his passes and he has 1,144 passing yards and seven touchdowns heading into the Monday night contest against the Chargers, who give up the second most fantasy points to players at his position this season so far.

The game against the Chargers is much anticipated and the team now will play three straight games in primetime, as the Monday night matchup is on ESPN, next week against the Denver Broncos is on Sunday night football and then following a bye in Week 8 they will play the Texans on Sunday night football again. On top of that, the team plays three of their next four games at night, as they play on the road against the Tennessee Titans in Week 11 on Thursday night football in the 8:25 pm matchup on the NFL Network.
The addition of Trent Richardson has helped make the offense more balanced with Ahmad Bradshaw injured and so far Luck has gotten some solid play from Reggie Wayne and TY Hilton, who has been one of the best deep threats in the league. Wayne has been very consistent, making 28 catches this season for over 360 yards and Hilton has 342 yards on 20 catches while averaging nearly 20 yards per reception. The Colts have a tough second half schedule this season, but even with that they should be the favorites in the AFC South. The team plays three of its next four out of the bye week on the road, including against the Texans and the Cardinals and they also have a number of division games, including another game against the winless Jaguars and two against the struggling Texans.
The team finishes with a road game against the undefeated Chiefs and then has a home game against the Jags. The Colts will travel to play the Chargers in San Diego on Monday Night Football in Week 6 starting at 8:30 on ESPN.
