Los Angeles Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals Playoff Schedule: When Do They Play Game 6? New Time, Channel and Date Available

Oct 17, 2013 01:21 PM EDT

Take 2!  The St. Louis Cardinals have another chance to clinch the NLCS as the Los Angeles Dodgers refused to go down in Game 5. The series will be leaving Hollywood, but the Cardinals will try to wrap things up at home in Game 6 of the series. When will the Dodgers and Cardinals play Game 6? Here is their playoff schedule with game time and date.

Date: Friday, Oct. 18

New Time: 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT

TV Channel: TBS

It seems that MLB and TBS are always switching things up. One day it's an afternoon game, then the next it's a night game. They played Game 2 at 4 p.m. ET, with shadows that made it terrible for hitters, explaining the 1-0 Cardinal victory. Then, Game 5 was at 4 p.m. ET, 1 p.m. PT, which apparently suited the Dodgers as they played Home Run Derby, smacking four bombs and tying the team's record for most hit in a postseason game.

The Cardinals will have their unstoppable youngster, Michael Wacha on the mound. However, the Dodgers read the young Joe Kelly really well in Game 5, tagging him for four earned runs in just five innings pitched. The Dodgers will have to find a way to get to Wacha, or else, it's another wasted season in the Dodgers' books.

Clayton Kershaw takes the ball on Friday evening and his only mission is extending the Dodgers' season by one more game. Kershaw's regular season dominance has translated well in the playoffs, but like Justin Verlander, he has received very little support from his offense. He earned himself a win against the Atlanta Braves in the NLDS, but the Dodgers scored nothing in Game 2, while the Cardinals scored one unearned run in the game that cost L.A. the game.

What will happen in Game 6?
The Cardinals are at home, which gives them a huge advantage. They are 4-1 at home this postseason and they have had a lot of luck against Kershaw in 2013. However, if the Dodgers continue to rake in Game 6, the Cardinals could be in trouble.

Will Wacha break? He's pitched 14 innings, allowing just one run for a 0.64 ERA. Is this the game where Wacha pitches like a rookie?

So many questions and they will not be answered until tomorrow.
