The Miami Hurricanes are having themselves great season so far in 2013 and the undefeated team will put their record on the line on Thursday night, as the team travels to Chapel Hill to play against the North Carolina Tar Heels and the game will be on ESPN at 7:30 pm from Kenan Memorial Stadium in the ACC conference battle.
The Hurricanes come into the game as one of the most consistent teams in the nation on offense and defense, as they are ranked in the top 10 in both points scored and points allowed this season. The team has not played too many top ranked opponents this season, but they have a statement win against the Florida Gators, who were ranked 12th in the nation at the time and now they will face off against one of the lesser teams in the ACC, as the Tar Heels come into the game with just one win and four losses, including two in conference play already.

The team is coming into the game after a home win over Georgia Tech 45-30 last week and that was the first ACC games for the Hurricanes this season and now they will go for 2-0 on Thursday night. Miami opened the season with a big win against Florida Atlantic and then after playing the Gators at home in a very anticipated game, the team dominated against Savannah State in a joke of a contest that saw the Canes score over 70 points while allowing just seven. The team had an impressive win on the road against South Florida a few weeks ago and now the team will be back on the road after having the home game against Georgia Tech last week.

The game against the Tar Heels will be on ESPN and comes before the team has a home matchup with Wake Forest next week in a game that will be broadcast on ESPNU starting at 12 noon. The Canes then will have their second huge game against an in-state rival, as they will travel to play Florida State on the road in Tallahassee and that game could end up deciding part of the ACC, as Florida State, Clemson and Miami are looking like the three strongest teams right now. The Canes then will play its second ranked opponent in a row with the Virginal Tech Hokies and then the team travels for a game against Duke.
The Hurricanes have a tough schedule to finish the season, as they have two of three games on the road, including three of the final five and that includes a road contest against Duke. The team has a home game against Virginia coming up after that before playing on the road against Pittsburgh and that game will be nationally televised on either ABC or ESPN. The Hurricanes are making a comeback after a few tough years and Al Golden has them on the right track.
North Carolina comes into the game after losing three straight games, including two to Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech in the ACC and now they will play their third conference matchup. After playing against Miami at home, the team will have Boston College before hitting the road against NC State in an in-state rivalry matchup. The game on Thursday will be on ESPN between the Miami Hurricanes and the Tar Heels and the game will start coverage at 7:30 pm.
