The fan who has been identified as the man in the video hitting a New England Patriots fan after the game on Sunday is apparently a big New York Jets supporter, as he was spotted by Deadspin.com in a picture with team owner Woody Johnson a week before the alleged incident.
According to Deadspin.com, the picture was uploaded to Instagram and Deadspin reports that the picture was probably take before the Steelers game last Sunday at the Met. The report says that Johnson has been known to walk around the parking lot at MetLife and that he takes pictures with fans and clearly that's the case here, although he obviously had no idea what would occur a week later.
The NY Daily News has reported that Kurt Paschke and his family have a Jets "minibus" that is decorated with all types of items and that is where the picture was taken, or so it appears. The report says that the bus is a usual sight at games, as the mother of Paschke has season tickets and that Paschke previously was convicted and served time for stabbing a teenager in the 90s while he was also a teenager and now he is in another bad situation.

The report from the News says that Paschke's mother claimed he was defending her from the Patriots fans who they were seen fighting with, as one of them provoked him into the scuffle. In the video Paschke is seen hitting a woman in a Patriots jersey and now the authorities are looking into it and charges could come later.
