Kentucky vs. Mississippi State Live Stream: Watch Online ESPN College Football SEC Thursday Game

Oct 24, 2013 07:08 PM EDT

The college football week gets started up early with some ESPN Thursday night football and the Mississippi State Bulldogs will be hosting the University of Kentucky Wildcats at Davis Wade Stadium in a game that will be on TV at 7:30 PM and will be streaming online on the Watch ESPN website.

The Bulldogs are coming into the game as the better team, but not by much, as they are winless in the SEC and 3-3 on the season, while Kentucky is 1-5 this season and they have also yet to win in the conference after losing their first three games. The team comes in after a one points victory against bowling Green and their next game could be very tough, as they have to go on the road to play against South Carolina and that will come after a nice little break for the tea. The SEC is super tough this season, but the Bulldogs have the chance at least to be bowl eligible, but they are about to hit a tough stretch, meaning they must win against Kentucky on Thursday

The Wildcats are terrible and the Bulldogs have an upcoming stretch against three great ranked teams in the SEC, including the Gamecocks next on the road and then they will also go on the road against Texas A&M and Johnny Manziel and that comes before another huge game against Alabama that they probably have no chance to win at all. The rest of the schedule is very tough and at 3-3, staying afloat might be very tough.

The team plays against Arkansas on the road after playing Alabama and then they finish the season with another Thursday game under the lights against Ole Miss and that game will be on ESPN as well. The team has been having a very up and down season and has alternated wins and losses each week, with a win coming last week after a bad loss against LSU and the team also lost to Oklahoma State and Auburn this season. The team comes in after allowing 20 points last week and they had a big game against Troy, but they haven't been able to do it against anyone significant.

Dak Prescott has been putting up good numbers for the team, passing for 890 yards and three touchdowns and he also has a ridic 457 yards and eight touchdowns rushing to lead the team. The team has not gotten much offense from anywhere else and while they average over 450 yards per game, they are 23rd in rushing yards per game with over 210, while the passing attack gets them 243 yards per game. Kentucky is terrible and comes into the game after a beating from Alabama and then they will play against ASU before a huge game against number five Missouri that is sure to be disaster and then they finish the season with Vandy and Georgia on the road before playing Tennessee at home.
