The Chicago Bulls are gearing up for their game on Friday night in the preseason finale against the Denver Nuggets and while Joakim Noah and Kirk Hinrich are back at practice, that doesn't mean the two will play on Friday and injuries have their starts to the season in doubt when the team plays the Heat on Tuesday night.
According to ESPN.com, the two players came back to practice after dealing with a groin and concussion injuries and the report says that while they were both back, they still likely will be out for the season opening game against the Heat in Miami. Bulls executive vice president John Paxson said Noah is catching up in his rehab and that he hopes he is back quickly.
Hinrich is dealing with concussion issues and he said that he is feeling much better and that he was able to pass the concussion test, which allowed him to get back to working out. Derrick Rose is getting ready to start the season and the Bulls currently have an undefeated record at 7-0 and they will put that on the line on Friday in the game against the Nuggets.
"It's a nagging injury but where he's suffered is really with his conditioning," Paxson said Thursday on "The Waddle and Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000. "Because he has not been able to be out on the practice floor and do the basketball conditioning that he needs to do in order to play, that's what he's lost in this process.
