The college football week continues after Thursday with a Friday night football matchup airing on ESPN with the Boise State Broncos visiting the BYU Cougars at LaVell Edwards Stadium and the game will be on television at 8:00 pm and it will also be streaming on Watch ESPN online.
The Broncos are the less hot team coming into things at 5-2, including 3-1 in their conference and they have won three straight games since losing on the road at Fresno State and now they will visit the 5-2 Cougars in Utah. BYU has won four straight games and the offense has been humming along all season with Taysom Hill at quarterback and he has been eletric so far, leading the team in rushing and pass through the season and now they will host the Broncos before heading out on the road for a big game against Wisconsin. The team comes in with over 450 yards per game on average and they are scoring over 30 points per game and after winning a crazy shootout against Houston last week, the team is ready for another big offensive game.

One team will be leaving the stadium with three losses and last game for BYU, Hill was once again the star with over 400 yards passing and he now has the chance to lead the team on a five game winning streak. The Cougars have been on fire since starting the season 1-2 and they have scored over 30 points in each of the last four games and in five of the past six, including that early season upset over Texas and now the schedule heats up with the game on the road against Wisconsin and then at home against Idaho State.
The next stretch of the schedule has three of four road games on the road and after playing Wisconsin and Idaho State, the team heads on the road for the biggest game of the season against Notre Dame and that will be on the road in South Bend and that will air on NBC. The team then plays against Nevada on the road for the final game of the season and that rivalry game is an anticipated matchup and could help decide whether the team will be bowling. Hillis leading the team with nearly 1,700 yards passing and nine touchdowns and he also has over 700 yards rushing and another seven touchdowns and he will be facing off against a tough QB in Joe Southwick. The team is ranked 61st in the nation in passing and 14th in rushing with 260 yards per game and they will need that to keep going to win on Friday.
The Broncos have a high scoring offense as well and the team is scoring in bunches, averaging nearly 40 per game and they are ranked 19th in the nation and scored 60 three weeks ago and have hit 34 in the past two games. The team has won five of the past six games and the team is averaging nearly 500 yards per game, with Southwick passing for 1,589 yards and 11 touchdowns. The team is tied in their division in the conference and the team is looking for a win on Friday night.
