The St. Louis Cardinals and Boston Red Sox face off in Game 4 of the 2013 World Series. Here is the info about when the game starts and where you can watch all the action.
Realistically speaking, the Red Sox have to win this game in order to give themselves a real chance at becoming the 2013 World Series champs. This is their last opportunity to tie things up as the Cardinals have a 2-1 series lead following Game 3's victory.
The Cardinals have been the far superior team in at least 16 of their last 18 innings played. St. Louis is seeing and hitting the ball very well as Red Sox pitchers have had no answer. John Lackey had his chance to give Boston a 2-0 series lead, but instead, the bullpen lost that game after the starting pitching was removed. Jake Peavy once again seemed to have a runner on base in every inning he pitched.
Today, the Red Sox will have Clay Buchholz, who has not been the same player in the postseason. He went 11-1 in his 16 starts this season and appears to only get worse and worse as the postseason progresses. He gave up three earned runs against the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 3 of the series. The Red Sox eventually lost the Game. He went 5.2 innings against the Detroit Tigers in Game 2 of the series and the Red Sox miraculously won that evening. Then, the Red Sox once again won behind Buchholz as after he gave them five innings of two run baseball.

He faces a Lance Lynn that has been on a bit of a rollercoaster ride this postseason. In two starts, he has shown two different sides. In the NLDS against the Pittsburgh Pirates, Lynn struggled heavily, surrendering five runs in 4.1 innings pitched. He then completely shut down the Los Angeles Dodgers in 7.1 innings, allowing two earned runs. He started a game against the Dodgers and reliefed as well and he was successful.
Buchholz is crafty and Lynn can blow guys out. Both teams hope their hurlers can give their offense a chance to score a few runs. Both pitchers hope their offense can start quickly and give them a few runs to work with.
The Red Sox need to tie this series in order to ensure that the series will return to Boston. They can win tomorrow, but that would mean the Cardinals possess a 3-1 series lead with both Adam Wainwright and Michael Wacha taking the ball in Games 5 and 6.
