The Pistons revamped their lineup for the 2013-2014 season is ready to go. Chauncey Billups is back and chances are that he might call it quits after this season. He will join forces with Brandon Jenning sand Joe Smith as both of these guys are considered some of the most talented players in the league.
Jennings is a pure scorer, while Smith has always had the ability to do anything he wanted on the basketball court. Smith is a very streaky player, Jennings will load up on the highlights. The Pistons hope these two stars, accompanied by a great young center in Andre Dummond, can bring change to Detroit. It seems like it was many years ago since the Pistons last won a championship. However, after this busy offseason, they look forward to setting the tone and competing in the Eastern Conference, which is up for grabs after the New York Knicks, who are the fifth best team in the conference.
A team also hoping to make some noise and possibly making a playoff run, yeah, that is right, the Wizards. They have John Wall and Bradley Beal. They added Marcin Gortat and they have Nene controlling the paint. The team has the talent and size, but can they use it properly? The Wizards have been a team the rest of the league has stepped on season after season. With these four guys, though only Nene and Gortat have playoff experience, the Wizards can at least challenge teams in the East.
