The Houston Cougars have been one of the highest scoring teams in the country this season and they will put their 6-1 record to the test for a presentation of ESPN Thursday night football and the game will be on live at 7 pm and streaming on Watch ESPN from Reliant Stadium in Texas.
The Cougars come in after scoring 49 points in a win over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights last week and the team now has scored at least 46 points in three of the last four games, despite losing two weeks ago to BYU. John O'Korn has been excellent for the Cougars and he follows in the footsteps of current Texans QB Case Keenum, who played his ball at Houston and now the Cougars have the 17th best passing offense in the nation with over 320 yards per game and they have the 10th ranked scoring offense in the country while averaging over 40 points and they are facing a 2-5 South Florida team and that means some points could get up on the board.

Houston comes into the game 6-1 after losing to BYU and they have been one of the most impressive teams in the country, winning five straight before losing to BYU and now the team will play against South Florida before facing off in its toughest game yet against their first ranked team in UCF. The Cougars are currently 3-0 within the AAC or the old Big East this season and they could be a factor come championship time, as they have a number of big games coming up against teams that are expected to be very good, including Louisville and later against the Bearcats. Houston is facing off against a team that gives up a lot of points and doesn't score much, meaning they should dominate.
Houston and quarterback John O'Korn have put up some video game numbers over the past few games, including last week against Rutgers, which saw him throw for five touchdowns and zero picks on the day and he completed 80 percent of his passes while missing on only six throws and he had 364 yards in the matchup. The previously game against BYU saw him throw for three picks and three TDs and he had 363 yards in the loss and the game before that against Memphis was his only game without 300 yards passing in the last four weeks.
Houston has a tough upcoming schedule for the rest of the season, as they play South Florida before the matchup with UCF and then the team has a game against the Louisville Cardinals and both of those will be on the road. The team then finishes the season with Cincinnati and SMU at home, while South Florida will next play against Memphis. The Bulls finish the season off with a home game against SMU and then they play on the road against UCF and then against Rutgers as well. The game on Thursday night will be between the Houston Cougars and the South Florida Bulls at Reliant Stadium at 7 pm on ESPN.
