Seattle Seahawks Schedule Week 9: Start Time and TV Channel For Tampa Bay Buccaneers On FOX At 4:05 Sunday

Oct 31, 2013 09:05 PM EDT

The Seattle Seahawks have been one of the most impressive teams in the NFL this season at 7-1, but injuries could derail what looks like a Super Bowl year and the teams play in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on FOX on Sunday at 4:05 pm at CenturyLink Field.

Head coach Pete Carroll has the team on a nice streak since losing to the Indianapolis Colts a few weeks ago and the team is hoping for a fresh return from wideout Percy Harvin, as fellow wide receiver Sidney Rice is now out for the season with a torn ACL suffered in the win on Monday night football against the St. Louis Rams at the Edward Jones Dome this past week. The Seahawks had a long break for that game after playing on Thursday night football and now they will be on a shorter week after playing the Rams on MNF. The team is playing well, but that Monday game may show some troubled on the horizon, as Rice was injured and the defense was a bit sloppy against a pretty weak Rams team.

The Seahawks will not have to figure out how to move on without Rice and while he was not one of the top two leading receivers, he provided a solid target in the redzone because of his size and now names like Golden Tate, Doug Baldwin as well as tight end Zach Miller will have to step up for Russell Wilson at quarterback. The Seahawks have been one of the most consistent teams in the league on offense and defense and they are ranked in the top five in stats in both rushing yards per game and passing yards allowed per game and one of the main reasons for that is play of Richard Sherman and he should continue playing well the rest of the season.

Marshawn Lynch has been his usual beast self again this season and he is one of the leaders in the league in rushing and the play of Russell Wilson behind him has the team ranked fourth in the league in rushing yards per game with over 140 per contest. The team has now won three straight games after losing to the Colts and that came after starting the season 4-0 for the first time in franchise history. The team is ranked 28th in passing yards per game and that could be something that comes back to bite the team in the butt come playoff time, but Wilson has shown that he is good enough to help the team win despite not having the most weapons in the passing game, but the return of Percy Harvin should change all that.

The Seahawks have the game against the Buccaneers on Sunday before playing on the road against the Atlanta Falcons in a rematch from the playoffs last season and then the team will be home against the Minnesota Vikings. The team will play the Vikings before a bye in Week 12 and that could be the perfect break to get Harvin back fully healthy and he will absolutely be needed at the end of the season, as the New Orleans Saints are waiting out of the bye week at home for Monday night football. The team then finishes with road game against the San Francisco 49ers and the Giants and then the team will finish at home with two games against the Arizona Cardinals and St. Louis Rams.
