Missouri Tigers vs. Tennessee Live Stream: Watch SEC College Football as Eastern Conference Rivals Face Off Saturday 7:00 PM ET

Nov 02, 2013 06:50 PM EDT

The Missouri Tigers are looking to avoid a let down after last weeks loss to South Carolina. The team is still recovering after an overtime loss that ended with a missed field goal off the goal post. The team dropped to No. 10 in the rankings, but a win against Tennessee could lift momentum.

Missouri still has a one-game lead over South Carolina in the SEC East which makes their matchup against Tennessee very important. If the Tigers lose again, the Eastern Conference becomes even more muddy with who will be making the trip to Atlanta for the championship game.

The Tigers will need to bring back the fast-paced offense that carried them throughout the first part of the season. South Carolina showed the ability to slow the team down, something the Volunteers were likely taking notes of. Quarterback Maty Mauk will make his third start of the year after James Franklin separated his shoulder.

Tennessee will have to recover from losing quarterback Justin Worley for the season. He was ruled out indefinitely after injuring his thumb in the team's loss to Alabama. Worley underwent surgery, but could return in at least two weeks, per coach Butch Jones. Freshman Joshua Dobbs will fill in, making his first career start against Missouri. He has shown signs of potential, but the Tigers have a defense that sits tied for third in the NCAA with 15 interceptions on the season. They will look to feast off inexperience.

The last time these two teams met, the Tigers won 51-48 in a wild game where Franklin tossed four touchdown passes in the final minutes of the game. Tennessee on the hand has lost 18 straight road games over Top 25 teams.
